- Are learning how to go back in a story to find an answer
- Are learning how to write a written comprehension answer in a complete sentence & using the question to help
- Began writing in our D'Nealian handwriting books
- Do you remember the chant that helps us perfect our writing?
- One, two, look at you!
- Three, four, feet on the floor!
- Five, six, pick up sticks!
- Seven, eight, backs straight!
- Nine, ten, books at a slant and LET'S BEGIN!
- Wrote our D'Nealian letters in the air and with modeling clay
- Took more than one spelling test
- Started a Daily Word Ladder packet
- Created a 2-part web to help us draft paragraphs about ourselves
- Shared adjectives that described us
- Learned a new "Word of the Week": Immerse
- Practiced crossing "the midline" of our bodies with some brain-stimulating moves
- Listened to a read aloud, King of the Playground
- Continued listening to Gooney Bird Greene
- Practiced "Indoor Recess" where we tried out classroom games and art supplies
